St. Lucia Helps Expedite Alien Landholder Permits. New laws in St. Lucia have made it easier for non-residents to purchase land in island. The government is working closely with developers to expedite the process of obtaining the Alien Landholder licenses. The expedited process became law on Jan 5, 2009. License applications take four to six weeks to process and are normally done during the early part of the property purchasing process. Once the owner receives the license to buy land, construction must commence within two to three years. Application forms are given out by the Department of Lands and Survey for St. Lucia (see forms below). For more information visit www.stlucia.org.
Below are links to sites containing information on activities you may enjoy while in St. Lucia. Alternatively, you may want to visit the official St. Lucia tourist board's web site.
